An attempt at some 2 yr old pics/x-mas pics

While we were in Bham we met up with our good friends Jeremy & Kim and their two beautiful girls - we really enjoyed getting to see them - We met at the Botanical Gardens because sweet Kim was going to try and get some pics for me but Letson was just not interested and it was just too cold that day - Thanks again Kim and we can't wait to see yall soon. Ideally I was hoping to get some pics for x-mas cards but since that didn't work out we are working on some New Year's cards, and who knows they may turn in to Valentine's cards because he is just about impossible to get pics of these days.....

X-mas in Birmingham

These are a few pics back from the first week in December , we actually went ahead and celebrated with Brad's family early since we had to go up for my cousin's wedding. Letson really got into opening his first gift and then it was over - he got the helmet you see in the first pics and that was all he did the rest of the night - he kept running around yelling FIRE - it was pretty funny you can so tell that his daddy is a firefighter, especailly since the hat was a race car helmet but he had fun and that is all that mattered:)!!

It's been quite a while.......

I have been gone way too long from the blogging world but as part of my New Year's resolution, I promise I'll try and do better - it just poses a bit of a challenge these days trying to find time between being 6 months pregnant, chasing a two year old, working and the holidays, and somewhere in between house work:) But we have been busy lately and I have so much catching up to do so bare with me.First of all we did find out that our newest addition is going to be a BABY GIRL....... we are so excited and honestly I think I am still in denial I can't believe it is a girl , but we are so excited and since the holidays are now over we are starting to really get ready for her - my pregnancy has flown by so I am certain the next 3 months will as well - I hope this big smile you see on my sweet boy's face is the same smile you see with him holding his sister - it is going to be a whole new world and we can't wait. My big man turned two X-mas eve and we celebrated with 2 smaller parties this year( pics to follow) - I can't believe how fast he is growing up , he is so much fun and is he funniest kid, we never know what is going to come out of his mouth next - he talks all the time and is busy, busy , busy! He is quite entertaining these days- he has been such a big boy lately we have not had our paci for 3 weeks now, we got a new big boy bed(pics coming I promise) and are even actually showing more interest in the potty. So I'm back in the blogging world and I have so much to catch up on so stay tuned for lots of pics.

Playing all the games - I was really surprised that he was in to this, I just assumed that he would be too busy but he actually loved it and especially the fishing ones - DaDa had to rig up a fishing pole at home today:)

Last night Orange Beach had their fall festival - and as you can tell from the pics he enjoyed it - he got to play games and ride the firetruck to across the street and go trick or treating and he really loved that, not to mention just being able to run around with Brady Cole & Ty

Ok so this year we didn't have to look too far for our Halloween costume - not only do I think the outfit is precious but it is even more special because Brad's grandmother made this for him and he wore this when he was two - so for all you moms out there that hold on to everything - it will definitely pay off one day, it may be 30 yrs later but it will definitely be appreciated.

we took the boys to the fair a couple of weeks ago and unfortunately there was nothing there for them to ride, they were not tall enough:( - but they still had a great time and got to play a couple of games.

This pic was taken about a month ago -it was something that a local church was doing so Rachel and I took the boys - this was one of my favorites but then after this he was done he was too busy trying to chase his ""Brady Cole"" - speaking of Brady he did great and Rachel got some great pics and we did manage to get one good one of them together but for some reason right after I scanned this pic in my scanner started acting up but I'll try again later so I can share the rest

SURPRISE - meet our newest addition.....

My lil monkey is going to be a big brother. We couldn't be more excited, I have known for a little while and it has been so hard not to share with everyone, but I went for my 3rd visit today and the doctor said everything looks great. So we are happy to finally be sharing our exciting news. Our due date should be around April 24th, However today I measured ~ 4 days ahead. So I know that I have been terrible at blogging lately because I have gotton lots of ragging from some family I won't mention in Bham ( Nana, Kaka, & Dayle) but I really have had a good reason and that is just exhaustion- being pregnant and chasing an almost 2 yr old brings a whole new meaning to being tired. Fortunately that along with the nausea is getting better. This pregnancy has been very different than my pregnancy with Letson from the nausea to the difference in their little heartbeats so we are so anxious to to see what the sex will be and really could care less either way - we are just praying for a healthy baby. I go back to the doctor in 3wks and he is awesome and has promised me another ultrasound then, so we are anxious because we may be able to find out the sex- we'll see but in the meantime I'll keep you posted.
