Happy Birthday Baby Girl.......Welcome Lynleigh Kate May

So we couldn't be any more proud to introduce to everyone our baby girl. She arrived rather fast Thursday at 8:35 morning weighing 6lbs120z and 20 in long and she is perfect. She has a head full of dark hair and resembles her big brother a little bit. We came home Saturday and every thing is good just a little busy so bare with me with the pictures(NaNa & KaKa) - I'm trying to do them in order. Big brother is adjusting well and I have pics of him with his baby sister that he so far appears to be very proud of. It is really just now sinking in for me that I have 2 kids now and that my family is complete - it brings tears to my eyes. We are so thankful & blessed.

Welcome Lynleigh Kate!!

Hey! This is Kim...Lynleigh is here!!! She was born this morning at 8:35. She weighed 6 pounds 12 ounces and was 20 inches. Shelly is doing great! She said it all happened VERY fast...2 pushes and she was here! She has a head full of dark hair! She will have some pictures on here as soon as she can!!

Don't they make pink ones?

I sure hope we get some more females around here soon or Miss Lynleigh is going to have to be tough to hang with these two wild boys....

Counting down......

Well as many of you already know our baby girl will be here Thursday April 2nd and we couldn't be more excited. I for one am super ready especially having been on bed rest for the past 3 weeks-it seems like 6 weeks to me. We can't wait and are trying to get big brother just as eager to meet his lil' sister, so we shall see. So join us in praying for a safe and healthy delivery of a healthy fat little baby girl that we can't wait to get our hands on:). Stay tuned for updates and pics Thursday.

valentines day '09

enjoying goodies from Valentines Day - thanks to everyone who sent cards and or who brought him goodies - he had a great v- day - we can thank Yai-Yai for the playdoh and he loves it I'm just not sure i'm real excited about the mess it makes but it definitely entertains so it is worth it - it will just have to be an understood that we just play in the kitchen with it .....he was into though especially the french fry maker.

update on our baby girl.....

This is a sneak peak of her room - my mom did her name for me to go above her bed and I think it turned out adorable - we are still working on the nursery so I'll post more pics when we are done. We are definitely down to count down now and I can't believe how fast my pregnancy has flown by. i went to the doctor Monday and now i start going every two weeks, I had an ultrasound and she looks great- she was estimated to weigh 4lbs 5oz already so she is definitely a growing girl as well as momma is these days:). She has consistently measured 2 weeks ahead the whole time so we'll see. She is so active and I am really enjoying that.We are getting so excited and can't wait for this sweet baby girl and I really can't wait to see my baby boy with his sister. It brings tears to my eyes just thinking about him with her so I am so very anxious to see how he does with her. Our good friends Kim And her family are coming down this weekend to enjoy some Mardi Gras activities and Miss Graci is only 6 months old so I'm curious to see how the weekend goes with a little one around all weekend - it will even be a good refresher for me.

yes for those that are wondering this is in the middle of my living room but it is such a big hit around here and they are only little once right - but obviously Letson did not put the track together like this so I'm not sure who enjoys the trains more around here :).....

mommy's new toy.....

I got a new lense for my camera for my b'day and was playing around with it last night - I still have alot to learn but the only time my little subject will let me practice these days is at night when he is winding down.

I promise he did this all by himself but hey it worked and I am all for it - he is doig really good on the potty and he had just got through with t-ting? and decided he was not done so he proceded to go to his room and get a book and then he left me a big surprise to which I would have never guessed two years ago that I would have been singing and dancing in the bathroom over :)!

He was really fun this year, he was so excited and didn't know where to go first. Yai-Yai, PawPaw,KaKa,Dayle, Nana, & PawPaw Bo made it just in time right when he woke up to join in on the fun. Here are just a few pics and he did have one surprise that Santa left outside but unfortunately because of our cold we only got to jump for a little bit.

x-mas eve/birthday

My family was down for Christmas, so we had everyone over for x-mas eve amd Letson's B'day. We had chili, cake and and a few presents. These are just a few pics - Letson was not feeling so great he had a really bad cold and did not get his nap out that day which would probably explain the pic with his cake - poor baby he just didn't want anyone to sing happy b'day much less have to wear that silly hat:)!

all comfortable in mommy & daddy's bed - happy as long as we don't make him go to his bed - and of course he didn't but he had a nasty cold so I wanted him close
