Trevor's visit

Mr. Trevor came to visit this weekend and he is adorable they were so cute sitting in front of each other they would just smile at each other - he is about 7 wks behind Letson but you would never know it - sweet sweet boys!

we are doing so good on our veggies - so far we have had carrots and squash and seem to love both - these are pics i took last night while aunt rachel was trying to feed big man and he looks as if he is being patient but he's really not you have to just shovel it in one bite after another or he'll let you know - the food thing is fun but so messy we usually just go straight to the tub

Happy 4 months sweet boy!

Notice all the drool we have to be getting a tooth soon because he is like a little faucet except momma can't turn him off - oh well it doesn't bother him

4 months already!

These were some pics from our four month checkup yesterday - I can't believe my baby is already four months but we had a great checkup with a new pediatrician that i really like - our big man weighed 15lbs120z and 24 ins long - I think maybe we are going to have a short stocky lil fella we definitely like the stocky word better anyway - we get to start eating the good stuff now - we'll start fruits and veggies so stay tuned for some messy pics i'm sure - we have already played around a little bit with fruits mixed with cereal but he is just not so sure of the spoon thing but i'm quite sure with his appetite it won't take long to figure it out - these pics were obviously taken before those mean ole shots because he wasn't like this for the rest of the afternoon after the shots - poor baby and we got two more months before we have to think about them again

another trip to the park!

Aunt Kacy, Owen, and Housie( brad's mom) came to visit this week and we took the boys to the park-we had a really good time - the weather was great and it was good to get to spend some time outside - we already miss them and can't wait to they come visit again!

He has discovered himself in the mirror and it is the funniest thing as soon as he sees himself he just laughs and starts squealing - it is so sweet he enjoys it so much that i went today and bought this mirror for the floor so we can get some tummy time in at the same time - precious - he just talked to himself this afternoon i would give any thing if i knew what goes through their little brains

he is really getting into his toys lately - he will entertain himself for a while until he drops one and can't get to it and then he screams and that would be my cue I suppose to pick it up promptly

using my feet

this baby has figured out that he can just use his feet to get some action from this toy - every time he kicks it , it lights up and plays music and he just smiles

sleepy boy!

sleepy boy - he is just not quite ready to close those eyes yet because he may miss something. i am excited and really actually proud of myself that i can lay him down awake now and he will go to sleep - up until now he was being rocked every time - it's actually a bigger adjustment for me then him but we definitely still have our time in the rocking chair.

This little fellow is changing more and more everyday. He has discovered his voice so all he does is talk and he'll get louder and louder - I guess he wants to make sure we can hear him and believe me when I say we hear him - he also can grab things now and it is the sweetest thing ever to watch him when you give him a toy he'll just pull it up to his little face and study it and loves to play with his hands now and definitely prefers the hands over his paci - i think we may be getting us a tooth soon. another new thing is watching mickey mouse playhouse and that is hilarious to watch him because everytime it comes on and he sees mickey mouse he just grins from ear to ear - mickey is definitely our favorite. My sweet boy will give me a big belly laugh now at least daily because momma knows those tickle spots - he is so much fun!

holding my own bottle?

i caught him holding his own bottle for daddy- definitely not something he can do all the time but when he is really hungry from time to time i have caught him holding his own bottle probably just to make sure we wouldn't try and take it from him to burp him - as you can tell the poor baby is starving!
