We took advantage of the beautiful weather Sunday and went for a walk on a nature trail in Orange Beach - it was really nice and the kids enjoyed it - Lynleigh slept the whole time and even got mad when i pulled the shade back on the stroller to take a pic(middle pic) - it was too bright and I must have been disturbing her sleep - Letson loved it and kept wanting to see lizards and alligators - we saw the lizards but no alligators thank goodness because momma is too out of shape to run with two babies

my big boy....

Nobody prepared me for how big my baby boy would look once we came home with a newborn - he looks so big to me now and it makes me sad:( - He is hilarious and we are never sure what is going to come out of his mouth next - he is all boy and on the go 24/7 but still a momma's boy that still wants to be rocked sometimes and I love it.....I just wish I could slow both of them down from growing up too fast.

sweet big brother....

I was trying to pick up things and get Letson ready for a bath so I thought would lay Lynleigh down in her bed since she has never been in there to watch her mobile and I noticed Letson was missing - this is where I found him - so sweet he was just talking to her

3 weeks old today....

2 weeks old

so Miss Lynleigh Cake as brother would call her is already 2 weeks old - so far she has been a great baby and surprisingly being a mommy to two has been easier than i thoughtfor the most part, it can get a little more hectic sometimes. She is a growing girl - we went to the doctor today and she weighed in at 7lbs4oz - yeah mommy's milk is working:) - she had lost down to 6lbs30z before leaving the hospital so i feel a better now that we have gained a pound-I am going to copy some of my fellow co-bloggers and try and take her picture every week with this cute little worm that Yai-Yai & PawPaw got her for Easter.

Thanks NaNa, PawPaw Bo, KaKa & Uncle Dayle for making the trip down here to meet our baby girl. It really was special and I'm sure she can't wait for yall to come visit again considering she was held all weekend:) - Lynleigh even got her first diamonds from them - they bought her her first diamond necklace - it's beautiful, diamonds are her birthstone, so it was even more special. Thanks again and we already miss yall.(sorry Uncle Dayle I didn't have a pic with you holding her)

12 days ago....

Twelve days ago this sweet baby girl changed our world as we all knew it and we couldn't be more complete now with her here. It has definitely been a bit of adjustment with a 2 year old and a newborn but for the most part not as bad as I thought - I have been really lucky because she has been such a good and easy baby which helps. Big brother is adjusting well other than a little bit of jealousy as expected but he loves her to pieces and is constantly wanting to kiss her - if he goes somewhere without her , he can't wait to get back to her and she is the first thing he asks about in the morning. he has made us laugh with some of the things he has come up with - while i am feeding her he will raise up his shirt and ask if she will bite his stomach too, and he also wants to know why she has a bug on her stomach. Oh and this really touches my heart and we finally got it on video and that is when she is upset he will usually sing twinkle, twinkle little star to her and she actually gets quiet and listens - she loves her big brother already! Brad goes back to work tommorrow so pray for a smooth adjustment as mommy handles it by herself. ( Yai- Yai is just 10 short mins away)

Easter egg hunt.....

We has a blast finding Easter eggs.....and we racked up with 12 dollars because cousin would pick up the eggs and shake them and if he didn't hear anything in them he would throw them down so that left all the dollars for us..........thanks cousin:)

this was Easter at Aunt Rachel & Uncle Buger's house and I did not even have time to take some pics of him and his sister before he was already outside and dirty so I just had to snap some action shots...........LITTLE BOYS! By the way I did not put the necklace on him, he actually picked that extra accessory up in Brady Cole's room

The Easter Bunny dropped by and dropped off some surprises and even left one outside.......that he loves and can't get enough of and I'm already wondering what i was thinking because there is sand everywhere - it especially likes the diaper
